"Company D, also known as the "Jefferson Light Guard", was raised at Canonsburg, Washington county, Pa. Muster in (MI) date will be assumed as June 19, 1861, unless otherwise stated; muster out (MO) date will be assumed to be June 11, 1864, unless otherwise stated."
