Eighth Pennsylvania Reserve Infantry Regiment

"The Eighth Reserve Regiment was composed of companies raised in the counties of Washington (Company K, previously called the "Hopkins Infantry," and commanded by Capt. Alexander Wishart), Fayette, Allegheny, Greene, Armstrong, Butler, and Clarion..." The company was mustered out of service May 24, 1864 at Pittsburgh, PA. Eighth Reserve Regiment (also known as the 37th Regiment of Pennsylvania)
