Will of Mary Marshman


Will of Mary Marhsman         In the name of God Amen, I Mary Marshman Of 
                    West Washington Borough being sick and weak 
in boddy but of sound mine memroy and understanding Prased be god for it 
considering the certanityof death and the uncertanity of the time and to 
the end i may be better prepared to leave this world whenever it shal 
please god to call me hence to therefore make and declose this my last 
will and testament in manner following that is to day first and 
principally i commend my soul into the hands of Almighty god my creator 
and as to my personal effects such as house hold good beds and chars and 
table and dresser and all my perosnal effects i give and bequeth to 
William P. Wilson and also my house and lot situate in the Borough of 
West Washington on the corner of West Chestnut street and Hayse Avenue i 
give and bequeth to the said Willaim P. Wilson, forever,

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Washington County, ss: Be it Remembered, That upon this 4th day of Feby 1898, before me O.M.Hartley Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration within and for said county came Melissa McDaniel & Preston Berry the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing attached Will of Mary Marshman deceased who, after being duly qualified according to law, depose and say: That they were present at the execution of said Will---saw the testatrix sign the same by mark---heard her publish it as and for her last Will and Testament; that they at her request, in her presence, and in the presence of each other, subscribed their names thereto as witnesses; and at the time of the doing thereof said testatrix was of sound , disposing mind, memory and understanding, to the best of the affiants knowledge and belief } Sign ans Subscribed before me, }Melissa McDaniel }Preston Berry O. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Washington County,ss: Personally appeared before me, O.M.Hartley Register for the Probate of Will tc., in and for the County of Washington, Wm. Wilson who after being duly qualified according to law, deposes and says that Mary Marshman late of West Washington died on the 28th day of Jan 1898, beteween the hours of seven and nine o'clock,P.M. Sworn to and subscribed before me, } this 4th day of Feby 1898 } his O.M.Hartley Wm. P. X Wilson Register mark And now Feb. 4, 1898 It being adjudged that said Will has been duly proved It is admitted to probate & recorded O.M. Hartley Register


To O.M. Hartley Esq Register of Wills of Washington County Pennsylvania Sir, I William P. Wilson of Franklin Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, sole legatee of Mary Marshman deceased, late of West Washington County and State aforesaid, do hereby renounce all my rights to letters of a administration with will annexed upon the estate of said deceased, and desire that the same may be issued to J.M.Ralston of Washington,Pa. Witness my hand, this third day of May A.D. 1899 his Witness William P. X Wilson J. Carter Judson mark And now June 11, 1899 Letters c.t.a. are issued to J.M. Ralston who filed an approved bond and was duly qualified O.M. Hartley Register
